Ah! What A Lovely Piece!

Wow, this song really shone! The instruments come together very nicely and form a very soothing and quiet melody that really stands out.

Like many others, I could picture a story/setting while hearing this song.

And just for curiosity's sake, what program did you use to compose this song?

5/5 Download! Feel free to check out my music.

MaestroSegments responds:

I used Fruity Loops to make these songs, but the sounds you're hearing have little to do with the program itself. If you'd like send me a pm and i'll tell you about VST's, the plug-ins I use to make these sounds.

Nice one!

Wow, you are a really great guitar player! You chose a great melody to play it to and your solo was amazing! You continue to surprise me with your music!

On a seperate note, recently I picked up a copy of flash and I am planning on using classic roots in it. However, can you do me a favor as to make a long fade from the 1:30 point to the 1:45 or so point. Thank you so much! My email is petwoip@yahoo.com if you don't know what I mean or if you are sending the edited copy.

5/5- and a download!

Very Chill and Relaxed

I liked how this song was so smooth and relaxed, but it was way to short to be submitted. I feel you could have expanded a bit more on the song.

The drums were pretty good, but they never really changed throughout the song. The backround pad was very good, it set the mood for the song. The piano couldve used a little work, but it isn't bad. The notes could have been more diverse.

And I know this was a short song, so it would be hard to do everything I said.

All in all, this song would be very good to listen to to clear my mind- it was an enjoyable listen.

4/5- Feel free to check out my music.

And btw BeAtBrEaKeR127, sometimes one has to give their songs fives. You can see how low the rest of his songs are, and without those 5's they would be even lower.

Well thank you for all of the constructive feedback man! I truly do appreciate reviews like this! And about that, I don't vote 5's on my songs unless they get downrated a lot because i know my music isn't 0 material.... well not the newer stuff lol, the older stuff i dont care about man. But in regards to the song being short, I made this one pretty fast so your rating of 5 for the effort was very accurate! I honestly didn't feel that the beat needed changing though, it was just to bring the song together pretty much. And the piano I agree, could have definately used work lol. I thank you very much for your review, and I will definately listen in to some of your music!

Not Bad!

Wow, what a dark and eerie song! I liked the overall sound of the song with all the loud drums and piercing notes. However, I don't really like those squeaks.

Very atmospheric and dark- and original too!! Good job!

9/10 -- 5/5

Feel free to check out my music.

Titan-Warlord responds:

thx for the review and dark and eerie is what i went for in this song glad you liked it

Very great epic song!

Very nice song. Full of energy and excitement, shown especially in the beginning with the screeching violins and battle drums. I love those chants that add a dramatic feel to the piece.

I also liked how the song transitioned from a loud orchestral part to a soothing and melodic harp and flute part.

The overall feel of the song was great! This is epic classical at its finest.

All I can say is keep up the great work, you are truly a great composer!

Feel free to check out my music- 5/5

MaestroSorrow responds:

i'll be sure to check them out soon, thanks for the review. The original plan was to make it go full circle, and it was meant to be around 3 minute longer, but due to lack of energy, and innovational ideas, I stopped here ^^.

Thanks again for the review.

Amazing!

Another GREAT composition. This one especially delivered an incredible feel to it that sounded so nice! I wish I didn't review The Celtic Rainsong before this one because this is just as good. I guess I now have two favorites!

These two songs really made me recognize what a great composer you are. But not only with the pianos and other instruments, but the drums and the bass as well.

Keep up the INCREDIBLE work!

Eric-S responds:

Thanks man, i'm working on it!

I'll keep checking out your work!

Another Great Song!

The guitar riffs, solos, and the drums... all come together seamlessly. You never fail to astound me with your great songs!

I especially enjoyed the first solo and the part when the riff was panned on the right speaker.

rocker206 responds:

Well I'm glad you liked how this song turned out. Thanks for the review man!

SPECTACULAR!!

This is the work of a professional!! I enjoyed listening to all the parts as they led up to the main part of the song and then that malimba solo and then the grande finale.

I am stunned at how well your notes sound together, a truly great composition!

From the bassline to those loud crashes at the end to the strings, this song deserves a perfect 10!!!!! Good Job!!!

5/5- and I downloaded it also!!

Plz check out my music

DavidOrr responds:

thanks for the review!

I should redo this with Reason. I used bad software and so-so samples when I made this. I bet I could really make this shine with some nice sounds.

I'll be sure to check your music out :)

Yes!!

Finally I have found a song with the complete ending of SM64! You played it VERY well, it sounds just like the original tune, with a nice piano touch! :)

5/5 + Download - thank you for making this!

Feel free to check out my music.

bob700 responds:

Thank you very much!

That was excellent!

So, I went onto Newgrounds to see if there was any good music to listen to. Then I saw Flashburn and I knew I would be pleased. My brother (Sebby_man) showed me your music a while ago I really like it, especially Crimson Keys. This song is just as good, if not better.

The notes you chose for this song were VERY good, especially in the beginning. I just love the way this song (and many of your other songs) progress. I especially enjoyed the instrument that came after the second cymbol roll, it reminded my a bit of XsToRmEr (I think I got his name wrong).

Also the mastering was very well done. It must have been hard to lower and raise the volume of the siren and the rest of the song so they sounded good together. The panning was great too.

The only problem I can think of is the siren. It might be a bit too loud at some parts.

Good luck on your future songs. And did you know you are on the Newgrounds audio playlist in the NG MAG section?
5/5

Flashburn responds:

hey petwoip long great to hear from you again! no i have no idea im on the NG mag playlist i have no idea what that is even?? anyways thanks for the review and i agree the siren can be a bit too much at some parts.. and your right it is very hard to master
