So good!

This is such a good song!!! It is so fun to listen to very loud on my headphones.

And I have to comment about that amazing drumming. Simply put, it is the best and most intense drumming I have for a classical piece. It is so complex and amazing.

I loved the ending so much, by creating the high pitched strings and the brass near the end, it sounded so good. It made the climax and BOOM of the song so great.

I also liked that Indian flute thing. It has a unique sound, especially right before the REALLY fast drumming part.

I wish you could have made the song slightly longer, but it probably takes a while to make songs like this, so its fine.

Great song!!!! I cant describe in words how much I love this song!!! 5/5 + Download.

This song should be a diamond!!!

Feel free to check out my music if you ever get a chance. I like to make long reviews for songs that really stand out as my favorites :)

WOW

I had headphones on while listening to this, it sounded sooooooo good. I'm speechless, this was OUTSTANDING!!!

Can't wait till the next one comes.

I have to rate this a 5/5 and give it a download, it is so good.

That..... was...... AMAZING!!

Wow, I cannot believe that was your first time using Reason. It seems as if you really got into Reason quickly considering that it sounds like it was made by an old pro. I loved the piano so much, it was my favorite aspect of the song. It even reminds me of another song I heard from another artist in the AP. Flashburn- Crimson Keys. Both great songs and have the piano as the main, unchanging melody while the other instruments progress. I liked how the piano was kind of midevil sounding- and the reverb was PERFECT! The way you introduced it was really cool also.

It appears that you caught onto the mastering bit right away. You use so many cool efects and panning.

I also liked hearing all the backround instruments. The song is so complex because there were so many of them. That made the song really interesting.

How fast did you set this song at, I can't really tell. Also, did you primarilly use samples or did you make your own by tweaking the knobs and all.

Well, fantastic job, this song is so fun to listen to. I've heard it about 5 times now and it does not get old.

Keep up the EXCELLENT work!! You are one of my favorite artists on Newgrounds. 5/5 + download (though I may have rated it before.)

Hehe, I wonder if this review is as long as my Forest of Brambles review :)

I'm glad you told me to check out your music!!!

Wow, that piano was so great and midevil-ish. Jeez, that piano part you play throughout the song is just too good, I could listen to it all day. It just blew me away right from the start.

I liked how you merged the trance with the classical (ambient? too fast to be ambient). Though the piano was great by itslef, I loved the way you used that fake flute thing (hehe, horrible description, but you know what im talking about)and how it progressed throughout the song.

Your drumming was good too, when it was there, just the right volume. 5/5, I would rate it, but Sebby_man already did (we use the same computer)

Wow

That was so good!! The clarity was great, it seemed as if the piano was being played right next to me. I liked how you changed the tune of that song to make it sound so good and different at the same time. I enjoyed this a lot, great job. I wish it could have been a bit longer, but its ok this way. Haha, I can't imagine how I could play a song like this on the piano.

5/5 and a download, I'm happy to boost up your score because this song deserves it.

Feel free to check out my music when you get a chance.

WOW

Wow, that was amazing. It was sad and inspirational at the same time. Only a couple of suggestions, and that is don't end the song like that. I would use a musical term, but I don't know any. I don't like the ending of the song as much as the beginning because it seems like the exact end of the song could lead into another part, but then the music stops. I think you should have stopped the song at that point and used the end of it for possibly another song, a happier song. These are only two TINY problems. Otherwise, the song is close to perfect (nothing is perfect in music.)and you executed it very well!!!!!!!

You are a great piano player!! Did you compose this song yourself. I envy your skills considering I cannot play piano or read any musical notes at all. Good job, you get my download and a 5! And btw, feel free to check out my music!

Creeeeepy!!!

Wow, that was really creepy. All the sounds in the beggining including that airy sound were very atmospheric. Then that strange voice came in. Then out of nowhere you made a really great synth part.

Those keys at the end were really great also. Wow, the list is so long of all the great sounds you used to make this song so good.

Keep making more, I can't get enough!!

WOW!!

That was a very beautiful piece of music. Is this a recorded piano, or did you make it off of a music program?

I thought it was very sad and full of emotion. I love sad music, it makes me feel very relaxed. Where did you get the idea of Crying "Birds". It's not really something I can picture, but that probably isn't why you choose that name. I can understand the crying part, because it is so sad.

I wish you could have made it slightly longer, add a violin or something, but it is all up to you and it came out great nonetheless. I hope this song stays up on the list. I rated it a 5 about a 3 weeks ago bringing it up to a 4.0, and I guess it's a 4.25 now. Reminds me of a couple of my classical songs where they gradually got higher and higher up the list (then went down a bit :) )

I heard float also, and that was a great song, but in my opinion this is better. Do you think you could make a song with an orchestra, I bet that would sound really great.

Well, keep up the great work, and best of luck with this song and all of your others. Feel free to check out my music when you get a chance.

Well, that was a long review, hehe, sorry for making you read so much :)

ooo.. a review.. I thought this would be rotting away by now.. but so we learn.. thanks alot for taking the time to write that.. :D

anyway.. to respond.. lesee..

it was recorded from my piano..directly.. I just used a program to record it 'n stuff.. but for the rest pretty much unedited

I actually also made an extended edition for it.. but yea.. not sure if thats worth posting.

over the time I made alot of other music, also orchestra stuffle.. with singing 'n all that.. but I dunno if I should post that here, seeing alot of people roam around here with maybe other intentions then just to listen to the music.. but yea. *ramble* maybe I'm just being paranoid.

I'll be sure to check out your stuff, thanks for taking the time to listen/write :D

Wow

I've never heard the original version of this song, but you made it sound so great!!! I love that guitar you used!! It was so.. powerful!

You should join or form a band soon, I bet it would be really great! This song reminds me of The Nightmare Before Christmas Heavy remake from Zombe Possesor, only because they both sounded really great.

Good job, oh, I gave Asylum a download also, and a 5.

rocker206 responds:

Yeah I thought it was pretty good as well. I could of mixed it better though :( but oh well. Thanks for the review!

Great job!

How do you come up with such great songs. That was probably my favorite solo of yours! I also liked how you incorporated that quieter guitar in the beginning before the lound one came came in.

Your songs are always so great!!, I think some of these deserve platinums. (crank, cover up, this). Good job!

rocker206 responds:

Wow thanks man!
