Good game...
But not as fun or well made as Dad'n'me. The walking and running animations were a bit strange I thought.

I found a small bug
When you jump in the air next to a wall and press attack a bunch of times, your guy gets frozen. The only way to get him unfrozen is by pressing the attack again. Just wanted to point that out. Otherwise, great detailed tutorial.
Ok thanks, i'll look into that :)
Good art, boring game
Your art style is pretty amazing, but the game itself is just your average avalanche game. I was hoping for something more complex.
And I bet Koji Kondo (the guy who composed these songs for Super Mario Galaxy) wouldn't appreciate you putting his songs in this game (unless you somehow got permission from him) and not even crediting him.
Finally, the menu is all broken. The sound effects repeat and are annoying and the buttons are unresponsive some of the time.
So, I suggest you keep the art syle but come up with something better.
No good
I know the game sucks, everyone who has played the game knows it sucks, and you probably do too. But that's also the reason you have such a high score, because the fact that the game sucks and everyone knows it makes it somewhat comical. In other words, everyone is happy with it because they know it was meant to be that way.
But the game sucked for reasons besides having bad visuals and a sloppy layout:
-The frame rate is lower than it should be, which makes the keys less responsive.
-The game is glitchy, especially on windmills.
-You blatantly copied another person's platformer tutorial (look at DanBomer's review below).
So please, make something that isn't a rip-off of a tutorial and put some more effort into your next release. Once the novelty wears off, people with start to hate this style.
Strange game.
I scored a 25
Not bad! Thanks for reviewing :]
Great Game!!!
Not many games keep me excited the whole way through; I anticipated the next level no matter how hard it would be, and I enjoyed every minute. Here's why:
I felt very rewarded when I beat it
The pictures and physics were excellent
The sound and music was fitting
By the way, did you make that physics engine or did you download one? If you downloaded one, please tell me where I can find it!
SUPERB!
This is one of the greatest, most complex, and visually appealing games I have played. While playing the game I often imagined the sort of you code required to make everything work... Reflections on the silver ball, particle effects, static electricity effects, color effects, gravity, remembering previous locations and movements, and countless more. I couldn't help but constantly notice the massive amount of attention to detail and physics you put into this game. Though, from seeing your name up there I had to expect something great.
You've truly reinvented online puzzle games just as Portal did for the consoles.
And while playing the game I turned down the music volume all the way so I could listen to songs from Black Sun Empire and Noisia. When the game ended and my playlist was over I heard the game credits and thought the songs on my playlist were playing again, thats how professional the music is in this game. Basically, I loved the drum n' bass music at the end, which prompted me to hear the music for each stage after completing the game.
I got 101!
Interesting game. I manage to get 101, and then i lost on purpose, because it was taking long. I like the idea and you made the epilepsy aspect perfect!
I don't see anything ingenious about the game...
I found this game to be too simple and a bit repetitive. Judging by the score, this game is overrated, mainly receiving high marks for the art style and the sound- based programming (my opinion). I would have rated the game higher if there was more variation.
I really liked this game!
I like this game a lot, and I spent the time to beat it. Though I noticed a few problems as I was playing: There were several bugs, including pops here and there and weird collision angles.
But overall, I liked the concept and the game was challenging fun!
